Directions
Step 1
In a mixing glass, pour the lemon/orange-infused cognac (1).
Step 2
Add the tonka bean/cinnamon syrup (2), Cointreau, and orange bitters.
Step 3
Add ice cubes, then stir for 10 seconds.
Step 4
Pour into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with an orange zest.
(1)Lemon & Orange-infused Cognac 70 cl
•  70 cl Hennessy VS Cognac
•  6 lemon peels
•  4 orange peels
1. Â In a container, pour the cognac.
2. Â Peel the lemons and oranges, making sure to remove the white pith.
3. Â Add the peels to the cognac.
4. Â Let infuse for 14 hours, then filter. Store in a cool place.
(2)Tonka Bean & Cinnamon Syrup 100 cl
•  50 cl water
•  500 g granulated sugar
•  14 g grated tonka beans
•  5 g ground cinnamon
1. Â In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar, and heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
2. Â Add the grated tonka beans and ground cinnamon to the hot syrup.
3. Â Let infuse for 10 hours, then filter. Store in a cool place for up to 6 days.
